Ivan Baliello
Ivan has a significant amount of experience working with high growth entrepreneurial entities across various industries including real estate, hotel, high and emerging technology, aerospace, food and vitamin manufacturing and distribution, steel manufacturing, apparel and tourism . He has an in-depth knowledge of audit and accounting principles, audit design, the review of audit findings, financial statement preparation, presentations and disclosure, all of which are in accordance with either Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS).
In addition, over the past thirteen years he has acquired significant expertise providing advice on the purchase and sale of privately held entities in Canada and abroad, evaluation of accounting and finance personnel, various income tax credits, subsidies and loans available to privately owned companies, non-resident income tax issues and withholdings when providing services or employment in Canada, and various tax credits offered by the Canadian Federal and provincial governments.
Ivan joined the firm in 2001, obtained his CA designation in 2002 and was welcomed as a partner in 2006.
